Flushes

If your chicken is suffering from food poisoning, or an intestinal disease, flushing its system will help with the recovery process.

EPSOM SALT FLUSH:

• 1 tsp. Epsom salts
• 1/2 cup water

Mix ingredients, then give to the bird with an eye dropper twice a day, for 3 days, or until the bird recovers.

MOLASSES FLUSH:

• 1 pint molasses
• 5 gallons of water

Mix and provide as sole source of water for no more than 8 hours.
